A typical co-living floor plan splits cleanly into private and shared territory, and drawing that split clearly on the plan early helps everyone on the project agree on the trade before the unit count gets locked.

Practical block use
Sofa-set-plan-1 is the block I'd reach for first here, because it's a fast, honest way to test how many people the shared lounge actually seats once real furniture footprints, not abstract square footage math, are laid into the drawing. A grill block works well for a rooftop or courtyard communal grilling station, a genuinely common amenity many co-living operators advertise. And a van block is worth testing against the move-in loading zone, since co-living buildings turn over residents faster than typical apartment buildings and a poorly sized loading area becomes a recurring operational headache rather than a one time move-in problem.

Micro units packed close together, often sharing a wall with a neighbor on both sides plus a corridor wall, make acoustic separation a real design issue rather than a nice to have, since residents living in 9 to 15 square meter rooms don't have the buffer of extra space to absorb a neighbor's noise the way a larger apartment layout might. I generally flag sound rated partition assemblies between units early in the design, and where the budget allows it, stagger plumbing walls so two units don't share a single wet wall back to back, since that's usually where the worst sound transfer complaints originate, water running through a shared wall at 11pm is a genuinely common resident complaint in buildings that skip this.
