Free physiotherapy room CAD blocks for AutoCAD

A physiotherapy room is a hybrid: part clinical treatment space, part small exercise gym. On one side a patient lies on a treatment couch for hands-on therapy; on the other they use a bench, a bike or mat space for rehab and exercise. The plan has to hold both, with enough open floor for a therapist to move a patient through exercises safely. These free physiotherapy room CAD blocks combine treatment and exercise items — couch, bench, bike, recliner and scale figures — drawn to true scale in DWG and DXF for AutoCAD 2004 or later, free for personal and commercial use with no signup and no watermark.
What makes a physio room different from a plain clinic is the demand for clear floor space. Rehab involves movement — a patient standing, balancing, walking a few steps, doing supervised exercises — so the room needs an open area the therapist can use, not just furniture against the walls. Drawing the treatment couch, the exercise kit and the open floor at true scale lets you keep both functions without one crowding the other.
Use the set for physiotherapy and rehab clinics, sports-injury and musculoskeletal rooms, hospital rehab gyms, and the physio rooms inside health and wellness centres. Split the room into a treatment side and an exercise side, then protect the open floor between them.
Treatment side and exercise side
Plan the room as two halves plus open floor. The treatment side holds the couch where hands-on therapy happens, with access for the therapist on both sides. The exercise side holds the bench, bike and any mat or weight space for rehab. Between and around them sits the clear floor where a patient moves under supervision.
The core blocks are a treatment couch (the patient lies for therapy), an adjustable or flat bench for exercises, a gym bike for cardio rehab, optionally a recliner for rest and recovery, and scale figures to test access to the couch and clear space for standing exercises. The mix of clinical and fitness blocks is what makes this room read correctly.
Physio room dimensions and clear floor
Keep these as ranges. A physio treatment room varies widely with use, but allow enough that a couch, some exercise kit and a genuinely usable open floor coexist — a single treatment-plus-exercise room often wants more area than a plain consulting room for this reason. The treatment couch is roughly 1900–2000 mm by 600–700 mm.
Give the couch about 900 mm of access on a long side, ideally both sides, so the therapist can work from either. Around the bike and bench leave access to mount, exercise and dismount, and — most importantly — protect a clear open floor area where a patient can stand, balance and take a few supervised steps without hitting furniture. Draw the couch access, the equipment access and the open floor as zones, and the room shows whether rehab can actually happen in it.
Setting out the physio room in AutoCAD
Place the treatment couch against a wall with access to a long side toward open space, and a basin or trolley within reach for hands-on work. Set the bike and bench on the exercise side, each with its own access space, lined up so they do not eat the open floor.
Then draw and protect the open floor in the middle of the room — this is the single most important move, because it is where rehab happens and it is the first thing to get crowded out. Use scale figures to check a patient can lie on the couch, mount the bike, and stand and move on the open floor. Keep the couch, exercise kit, open floor and circulation on separate layers so you can issue a clear treatment-room plan and an equipment schedule from one DWG.
Per-item notes for physio blocks
Patient couch — the treatment anchor; give it access on both long sides where you can, with a basin or trolley within reach.
Adjustable bench / bench — for seated and lying exercises; place on the exercise side with mount-and-dismount space and keep it off the open floor.
Gym bike — for cardio and lower-limb rehab; leave access to step on and off and reach the controls.
Recliner — for rest, recovery and seated treatment; draw its access clearance like a couch's.
Human figure (plan) — place a patient on the couch, on the bike, and standing on the open floor to prove all three functions fit.
Why plan view suits the physio room
A physio room is laid out in plan — couch, exercise kit, open floor, curtain bays and circulation all read from above, which is what the room layout and the equipment schedule need. The blocks here insert at true size for that work, so the couch, bench and bike you place are the items you schedule and set out.
Where a department repeats treatment bays, a resolved bay copies cleanly, and the shared rehab gym is drawn once with its open floor protected. Combining medical couches and fitness equipment in one plan, both to scale, is exactly what a physio unit needs and what a single, mixed block set delivers.

Questions
Frequently asked
How is a physiotherapy room different from a consulting room?+
It needs clear open floor for rehab — a patient standing, balancing and taking supervised steps — on top of the treatment couch, so it usually wants more area and combines clinical and exercise equipment.
What CAD blocks do I need for a physio room?+
A treatment couch, an exercise bench, a gym bike, optionally a recliner, and scale figures to check access and open floor. All download free in DWG and DXF.
How much access should a treatment couch have?+
About 900 mm on a long side, and ideally both sides, so the therapist can work from either. Draw it as a clearance zone around the couch and protect the open floor beside it.
Are the physiotherapy blocks free for commercial projects?+
Yes. Every block downloads free in DWG and DXF with no signup, no watermark and no attribution requirement, and is cleared for commercial use.
