2 seater cafe table CAD block in DWG in 2026

A two-seater cafe table is the unit you array by the dozen to lay out a coffee shop, and this page supplies it as a clean, scaled DWG block. Cafe tables are small by design — a round or square top on a single pedestal that seats two facing each other — so the whole floor's capacity and gangways come down to getting this one block right. It is drawn full size in millimetres so it inserts at real dimensions into AutoCAD 2004 or later, and it is free for personal and commercial use with no signup, no watermark and no attribution.
Cafe and bistro layouts live or die on circulation: too many tables and staff can't pass, too few and the floor wastes revenue. Insert the correctly-scaled two-seater and array it, and you can read the seat count and the gangways straight off the plan, then tune the grid until it works.
What the 2-seater cafe table block is
This block represents a small cafe or bistro table for two, supplied as a single plan-view block reference. The top may be round or square, usually on a single central pedestal so chairs pull in from any side without leg clashes — the detail you want for tightly-packed seating. Two chairs face each other across the top.
As a block it copies, rotates and arrays as one object, which is exactly how you build a cafe floor of identical tables. Editing the definition updates every instance at once, so resizing the cafe table across the whole layout is one edit. The geometry is drawn to true dimensions, so the footprint and the gaps between tables are accurate. Where the source DWG carries an elevation, you also get the side profile for cafe interior elevations.
Views and what is included
The plan view is the one you work in: the small top from above, placed and arrayed across the cafe floor with two chairs each. It drives the clearance checks that matter most in dense seating — the gangways between table groups and the route to the counter and the door.
Keep the tables on a dedicated furniture layer so you can freeze them for a clean shell plan and thaw them for the furnished layout. When a download bundles several views in the same DWG, insert the plan for layout work and freeze or explode the rest. The file is AutoCAD 2004 format and opens in current AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, BricsCAD, DraftSight and free DWG viewers without conversion.
Typical sizing to design around
Two-seater cafe tables are small: round tops are usually 600–700mm in diameter, square tops 600–700mm a side, enough for two coffees and plates without crowding. Some bistro tables go down to 500mm for the tightest standing-and-perching layouts. Cafe tables often sit a touch higher than dining tables, around 720–760mm, with bar-height versions taller still.
For circulation, keep at least 450mm between the chair backs of adjacent table groups in a tight cafe, and 900mm or more for the main gangways and the counter approach. Where the brief allows, pushing two square cafe tables together makes a quick four-top for larger groups. Use these as ranges to test the layout, not fixed specs on the block.
How to insert and scale the block
The DWG is drawn in millimetres. Insert at scale 1 in a millimetre drawing, 0.001 in a metre drawing, or set INSUNITS to millimetres so AutoCAD rescales on insertion; 0.03937 converts to inches on a US imperial template.
Run INSERT or drag the file from a palette, and pick the insertion point at the centre of the table — a small pedestal table pivots cleanly about its middle when you angle tables along a window or wall. Set the current layer to your furniture layer first. As a single block reference the cafe table arrays beautifully into rows and grids, and BEDIT lets you change the definition once so every table on the floor updates together.
Where the 2-seater cafe table is used
The two-seater cafe table is the staple of coffee shops, bistros, cafes, bakeries, food courts, deli seating, hotel lobby lounges and office breakout corners. Anywhere the brief is plenty of small seating in limited floor, this block is the building unit of the whole layout, repeated and tuned until the seat count and circulation balance.
Pair it with cafe-chair, bistro-chair, counter and stool blocks from the furniture category to assemble a hospitality scheme quickly. As a licence-clear file it carries from concept to a coordinated FF&E or fit-out drawing without re-drawing, and it is a natural fit for student and competition boards needing a believable, correctly-scaled cafe.

Questions
Frequently asked
How big is a 2 seater cafe table?+
Small by design: round tops are usually 600–700mm in diameter and square tops 600–700mm a side, enough for two coffees and plates. Some bistro tables go down to 500mm for the tightest perching layouts.
How close can I array cafe tables?+
Keep at least 450mm between the chair backs of adjacent table groups in a tight cafe, and 900mm or more for the main gangways and the route to the counter. Insert the scaled block and check the gaps on the plan.
What units and scale is the block drawn at?+
Full size in millimetres. Insert at scale 1 in a millimetre drawing, 0.001 in a metre drawing, or set INSUNITS to millimetres so AutoCAD rescales automatically when you insert the block.
Is the cafe table block free for a commercial fit-out?+
Yes. It downloads free with no signup, no watermark and no attribution, and it is cleared for commercial use including cafe, restaurant and food-court layouts.
